Sarah Mitchell leads the editorial team at DecorDesignIdeas. With over 12 years of experience in residential interior design and a background in architecture, she brings a sharp eye for proportions, materials, and finishes that actually hold up in real homes.

Before starting DecorDesignIdeas, Sarah ran her own design consultancy in Austin, TX, where she completed more than 200 residential projects ranging from studio apartments to four-bedroom family homes. Her work has been featured in several shelter publications and she holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Texas.
